This absolutely stunning 1965 230SL was professionally painted 8 years ago and the body & paint are excellent. You would be hard pressed to find a body that is as straight as this original beauty. The gaps are great on the trunk, hood and two doors. The motor is an original numbers matching 2.3 Litre fuel injected engine. The engine and the original desirable 4 speed manual transmission were rebuilt by a Certified Mercedes Technician. The newer correct canvas soft top is very nice and has a clear rear window. The white wall tires are in good shape. It includes the original AM / FM Becker Europa Radio and VDO clock. It has front disk brakes and 4 wheel independent suspension. The European sports cars are the fastest appreciating collector cars. It drives as great as it looks.
