this is an awsome bug that has had most of the work done and tons of new parts. i believe the engine is a 1600 but dont know for sure thats what i was told from a couple of diferent people who knew more than me. the engine starts easly end runs great the problem is that the car pops out of first gear and needs repaired or replaced i dont know. you can get the car moving by holding the shifter forward and once your going the other gears are good. the body was striped down to bare metal before being profesionaly painted. the body was very nice for a 1957 car and had almost no rust. the tires are almost new, lass than 100 miles. it has a new wiring harness new bumpers new moldings, new windsheild new 1 piece door glass new window rubbers new weather stripping and a new interior with no back seat. i started building this car and ended up moving before i could finish it so it is at a friends house in klamath falls oregon and i live about 4 hours away and i have no were that i can work on a car here. this is a great car for someone to finish and sell or keep for them selves. im sure there are lots of parts i forgot to mention. please email any questions. i dont know what the milage reads on the odometer and like i said im 4 hours away but i can find out if its importane just let me know. thanks curt i have had some questions come up that i will try to answer. the car will need to be towed, im sure you could drive it because once you get going its fine its just hard to get started that being said the car has no plates and needs to be licenced to be driven on the road. the car has no heater boxes or levers. i am not sure if the pan is a 57 or not. the title says it is a 57.
